Beta Club

The National Beta Club is the largest independent,
non-profit, educational youth organization in
America. For more than 80 years, it has prepared
today's students to be tomorrow’s leaders.

Our mission statement is to promote the ideals
of academic achievement, character, service,
and leadership among elementary and secondary
school students.

Martin Elementary School is proud to offer a
Jr. Beta Club to our fifth graders at our school.
Candidates for the Martin Elementary School
Beta Club must have maintained an overall
average of 95 or above during their fourth grade
school year.

The Beta Club is a service organization and
strives to have several activities each year to
help those at Martin Elementary and others in
the community.  Each year, the club has an Angel
Tree at Christmas to help students at our school.

Each November, the club attends the state
convention in Nashville and competes in both
group and individual activities.  Areas include
academic, talent, and visual arts competitions.

The Beta Club meets on the second Monday of
each month until 3:30.
