Before/After School Program Policy

Martin Elementary offers a before and after school program for students enrolled in the school building. This program provides a convenient, protective, and nurturing environment for children. Students in the program are provided an after school snack, homework/tutorial assistance with a certified teacher, and play/relaxation time.

Policies and Procedures

Hours of operation are 6:30 - 7:20 A.M. and dismissal-5:30 P.M. each full day that school is in session. The after school center is closed on days when school is dismissed early; such as pre-holidays and administrative closings.
Fee payments are to be made on a regular basis, weekly or monthly. Payments can be made by check or cash with receipts available. Please note child's name on your check or place cash in an envelope with child's name and dollar amount noted on the outside. Following these procedures will help ensure proper credit will be given to your account. Fees may be paid in advance with credit (no cash refunds) given for days not attended. Fees that are not kept current are grounds for dismissal from the program. Checks returned due to insufficient funds will result in immediate suspension until account is paid in full with cash.

The rates are as follows:

Registration fee - $5.00 per child
A.M. care - $1.00 per day per child
P.M. care - $4.00 per day per child

NOTE: The center closes promptly at 5:30 P.M. each day. To discourage late pickups, an additional days fee ($4.00) will be charged for each 10 minutes.

"Drop-ins" are welcome. Please make sure that registration and daily fees are paid!
